2019 Dodge Challenger Teases New Look
There’s no other car quite like the 2018 Dodge Challenger. It’s both a remnant of automotive history and a testament to new vehicle technology, not to mention it looks amazing. Fans of the muscle car will be excited to learn that we’ve finally gotten a bit of a teaser concerning the upcoming 2019 Dodge Challenger, more specifically, the incredibly powerful, head-turning 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
The 2019 model marks the car’s 11th year since its return, which is pretty considerable since the reintroduction of the car was originally seen as a bit of a gimmick. While the teaser images keep much of the 707-horsepower car shadowed in mystery, as they often do, we do get a look at a pair of powerful looking hood-nostrils.
The dual nostrils differ from the current design which features a single hood scoop. The model shown in the photos also seems to feature the widebody fenders as well as a bold electric blue paint job.
The automaker is keeping a tight lip on more details concerning its fastest and most powerful sedan but did offer up that the new hood vents are completely functional, which makes us wonder if even more power is hiding under the hood. The new look is meant to pay homage to Mopar® muscle from the era but with a functional and modern take.
Whether or not the upcoming 2019 Dodge Charger will get the same treatment is yet to be seen, but given what we already know, we expect that the new models will offer some pretty interesting updates for the 2019 model year.
For fans of muscle and speed who don’t feel like waiting, the 2018 Dodge Challenger is currently available here at Glenbrook Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM and Fiat.
