The base engine is a 3.6-liter V6 that delivers around 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. In addition, the engine has a standard eTorque system that will help its fuel economy and stop/start capability so that you will spend fewer trips to the gas station! If you want more power, you can go with the 5.7-liter V8 that will pump out 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque, and you can get it with or without the eTorque. Looking for some diesel power? The Ram 1500 has you covered with a turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V6 with 260 horses and 480 lb-ft of torque. All engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel-drive is available for those who want to get more traction. As for features, the Tradesman is well-equipped with 18-inch steel wheels, automatic headlights, remote keyless entry, air conditioning, trailer sway damping, Bluetooth, and a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system. 

Next, we have the Big Horn, which builds on the Tradesman with impressive features, such as chrome bumpers, foglights, body-colored door handles, cloth seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and added interior storage. If there is one thing that the Big Horn trim is known for, its practicality!

Are you heading off-road? Then you need to get behind the wheel of the Rebel trim! It comes with all the off-road items you could ever want including all-terrain tires, hill descent control, underbody skid plates, tow hooks, and an electronic-locking rear axle. In addition, the Rebel also has several on-road enhanced features such as LED exterior lighting, a power-sliding rear window, interior storage bins, rubber floor mats, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and the highly-capable Class IV trailer-towing receiver hitch. Finally, the Rebel also has an upgraded suspension with a raised ride.

If you lean more toward the luxury side, the Ram 1500 has the Laramie trim, which has exterior chrome, power-folding side mirrors, a remote engine start, a heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, Wi-Fi Access, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. We should also point out that the Laramie also comes with Ram Connect services, an upgraded nine-speaker audio system, dual-zone climate control, and power-adjustable pedals!

If you go with the Longhorn, you will get even more outstanding luxury and tech features to go along with the Longhorn's power. It includes 20-inch aluminum wheels, upgraded LED headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, side steps, and a power tailgate release. Are you looking for more? The final trim in the Ram 1500's lineup is the advanced Limited trim which will top the range and include all kinds of fun and exciting features, such as a standard V8 engine, four-corner air suspension, power-deployable running boards, premium-leather bucket seats, a wireless charging pad, and an upgraded 12-inch touchscreen. Safety is also a significant factor for the Limited as it comes standard with a blind-spot monitor with rear-cross path detection. There is nothing the Limited can't do!
