The most prominent way in which the Ram 1500 Revolution differs from 1500 models of years passed is in its powertrain. The Revolution is set to be Ram's first-ever EV, that runs entirely on electricity without the need for gasoline. Specifically, the Ram 1500 Revolution will feature two eclectic drive modules, known as EDMs. These modules will be situated at either end of the vehicle, and receive their power from a rechargeable battery. Oftentimes, those who are new to the world of electric vehicles will worry about range anxiety, or the fear that their truck will run out of battery and leave them stranded. Ram puts these fears to rest, as the Ram Revolution can gain up to 100 miles in roughly 10 minutes when you charge with a fast-charging 800-volt DC charging cable.

The Ram 1500 Revolution has many of the same signature features of the Ram 1500 models you know and love. However, it has many new design features that set it apart from the rest of the crowd! One of the newest features is a front-facing trunk, which takes advantage of the space freed up by the lack of a gas-powered engine. This front-facing trunk, known as the "frunk," has powered features such as a one-touch power open and close system. From the front, the Ram 1500 Revolution features newly redesigned headlights with a "tuning fork" shape, LED lights, and pivoting front tow hooks. The Ram 1500 Revolution also features a powered charging port door, power side steps, and a power tailgate. The Ram 1500 Revolutions side doors both swing open, with no B column in between, which creates a more spacious entrance, perfect for both passengers and cargo.

In addition to the Ram 1500 Revolution's design features, there are also lots of new tech features that make this truck even more fun to drive! In fact, there is a new suite of connective features that help make life a little easier behind the wheel! For example, you can enjoy features like My Day, a trip planning system based on your driving habits, or Smart Home Control, which allows you to control smart home features such as lighting, thermostat, and more. In addition to the central infotainment touchscreen, the Ram 1500 Revolution features a removable lower touchscreen, which you can take out and use independently as a tablet for all of your needs! Other features include an intelligent storage app that helps you measure the physical objects you're storing in the truck, and an advanced camera system.
